How EbikeValues handles valuation details, trade-in leads, unknown-bike coverage requests, photos, serial information, and analytics.
Last updated June 13, 2026
Information we collect
EbikeValues may collect e-bike details such as brand, model, model year, condition, mileage, battery age, battery health, charger status, photos, serial number area, service notes, postal code, and contact details when you submit a valuation, trade-in request, unknown-bike request, or contact form.
How we use information
We use submissions to estimate private-sale and trade-in ranges, respond to shop or coverage questions, review unknown bikes, improve internal catalog records, measure site performance, and protect the reliability of the valuation system.
Private submissions stay private
Personal contact details, serial numbers, private notes, and submitted photos are not published as public SEO pages. Unknown-bike submissions may influence internal coverage work, but public brand, model, or guide pages should be reviewed and scrubbed before publication.
Analytics and measurement
The site may record limited analytics events such as calculator starts, completed valuations, low-confidence results, trade-in lead submissions, page type, source, and non-personal workflow metadata. Analytics should avoid direct personal contact details.
Service providers
EbikeValues may use hosting, database, email, analytics, storage, and security providers to operate the site. These providers should only receive information needed to provide those services.
Retention
We aim to keep information only as long as it is useful for valuation, trade-in follow-up, safety review, legal compliance, fraud prevention, analytics, or coverage improvement. Information that is no longer needed should be deleted or de-identified where practical.
Security
Administrative access should be limited to authorized staff. Production systems should use protected admin keys, server-only database credentials, role-based database rules, and secure storage for any private contact, photo, or serial data.
Your choices
You can choose not to submit contact information, photos, or serial details, but that may limit trade-in follow-up or staff review. To ask about a prior submission, use the contact page and include enough non-sensitive context for staff to locate it.
Policy updates
This policy may be updated as the site, shop workflow, database configuration, email delivery, analytics, and storage systems change.
